STUDENTS STRENGTHEN THEIR VOCABULARY WITH SPELLATHON COMPETITION
"The limits of my language are the limits of my world."
That stands true as language is a colossal medium to convey any one's intention and imagination. But for Presidium, the limit is not a frontier rather, it is a horizon. Accentuating upon this conviction, Presidium organized Spellathon for its students. Spellathon aimed to captivate the lessons of strengthening vocabulary and extending it. It included several rounds, like language activities like jumble words, completing the words, forming small words, riddles, synonyms, homophones, visuals, and identifying the word. Presidium believes that healthy competition makes students competent and eager to excel in life. Hence the winner and participants were both applauded.

To commemorate National Cancer Awareness Day, the students of Presidium made posters, raised slogans intending to create awareness regarding preventive measures against cancer. Students actively participated in and promoted awareness through their artistic and creative skills. The initiative taken up by the school was highly appreciated by all.
HEART DAY: DON’T WISH FOR A HEALTHY BODY, WORK FOR IT
Looking after your health means taking small but meaningful actions: eating a balanced diet, undertaking regular exercises, reducing the consumption of unhealthy drinks and food all the things that make you not only healthier but also able to enjoy your life to the fullest. On the World Heart Day, young Presidians took a step toward sensitizing masses about the need to have a healthy heart through their beautiful creations. These young children also understand the value of having a healthy heart. “Cardiovascular Disease” is the world’s number one killer today. But it doesn’t need to be this way. By making just a few small changes to our lives, we can reduce our risk of heart disease and stroke, improve our quality of life, and set an excellent example for the next generation.

"Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding." - Albert Einstein
International Peace Day is observed every year on 21st September. On this day, we are devoted to strengthening the ideas of peace and non-violence. Every year different agendas and strategies are discussed to solve the prevailing problems peacefully across the globe. We spread compassion, kindness, and hope in the face of the pandemic in "shaping the peace together." So our proud and talented Presidians actively and enthusiastically discussed different ways to spread love, care, and support and motivated each other by making placards and posters to promote peace.

Soil plays a vital role in the Earth's ecosystem. Soil releases carbon dioxide into the air, which plants need to grow and release oxygen. Soil is home to many little organisms, such as insects and bacteria. Students of grade 2 of Presidium school enjoyed a workshop on 'Life of Ants,' under the theme Insects. They explored what they can learn from the life of ants. In the end, they also made an ‘Ant Hill.’
WORLD OZONE DAY: PRESIDIANS STUDY ABOUT OZONE DEPLETION
"Earth without ozone is like a house without a roof." Students were enlightened through video screening and discussion. Their sensitivity and responsibility towards mother Earth could be seen through the beautiful and thought-provoking posters made by them. In the end, they pledged to soldier on with this sense of liability not just for a day but throughout their lives.
