A NOTEWORTHY ASSEMBLY ON NATIONAL CANCER AWARENESS DAY

National Cancer Awareness Day is observed to spread awareness about cancer. Presidium celebrated National Cancer Awareness Day with a special assembly to create awareness in students. A short speech was delivered on ‘Why we celebrate National Cancer Awareness Day’ and grade 8 students performed skit showing cancer-causing food products. The students emphasized the audience to indulge in regular exercises and intake of protein-rich food.

TALENT HUNT COMPETITION GIVE WINGS TO PRESIDIANS’ DREAMS

A Talent Hunt competition was organized in Presidium to encourage students to come forward and show their hidden talents. The idea behind organising this competition is to nurture the intrinsic qualities of students and remove their stage fright. Students exhibit their talent through dances, poem recitation, story-telling, mono-acting, playing an instrument and singing competition. It is joyful and overwhelming moment to witness such efforts put in by the students.

As an endeavor to solidify the bond of oneness and unification, the country celebrates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as National Unity Day. Presidium organized a special assembly in order to extend its heartfelt appreciation about the life of this great leader and his contribution during freedom struggle and to lay a foundation of a unified country fused with oneness. The program started with the impressive speeches delivered by the students followed by a dance performance on the special occasion.

PRESIDIANS IN HIGH SPIRITS OF FESTIVITIES ON DIWALI

Darkness can only be trounced by lamps, and hatred can only be trounced by love. Presidium celebrated one of the most auspicious festivals, Diwali, in its premises. It was a marvellous sight to see glitters and colours all around. The event was ennobled by the esteemed presence of founders of the branch, Ms. Vimal Chauhan and Mr. Kapasiya. The celebration commenced with seeking blessings of Almighty through Ganesh Vandana. Cultural dance and musical act on Rama's arrival in Ayodhya added to the grandeur of the ceremony. A street play on 'Say No to Crackers' advocated the social message. The event was simply an amalgamation of cultural values and festive fun.

PRESIDIUM ORGANIZE OPEN HOUSE TO EXHIBIT THE SCHOOL’S PROWESS

Learning is not just the product of teaching but also the product of the activity of learners. To brandish the work of our top- notch  students and teachers, Presidium organised an ‘Open House Event’. It aimed at allocating a platform where all the stakeholders joined a commune to bring the highest quality in education. This splendid event incorporated numerous activities such as workshops on dance, music, theatre, tattoo making, cooking without fire, sports like taekwondo, skating, football, chess and table tennis, robotics, selfie point etc. People were thrilled to see various models, projects and craft items created by students. The students were appreciated and applauded for their efforts.

PRESIDIANS GAVE COMPANY TO THE SOLITUDES

The complete life, the perfect pattern, includes youth, maturity and old age. Presidians of grades 7 and 8 paid a visit to Ashirwaad old age home. It was a great initiative taken by the school authority and the students as an act of kindness by spending quality time with old people.It was an opportunity for students to share joy and peace with them. The inmates were very hospitable and friendly. The students performed dances to break the monotony of the solitary people and made them sing and dance along with them. Overall it was a very sensitive ,touching and pleasurable experience for all.

SHOW AND TELL COMPETITION ADDS A STAR IN PRESIDIANS’ PERSONALITY

 Show and Tell is an essential exercise for school-age students to develop their verbal presentation skills, enhance their social skills, and help improve their self- esteem which can facilitate the development of healthier self-worth and self-confidence. It is a stimulating experience as students get to think creatively and out of the box. Students of grade nursery and prep got the opportunity to participate in Show and Tell Competition for sharing their knowledge. They spoke a few lines on their favourite objects, which was astonishing. They exhibited a lot of confidence and creativity.

GIRL CHILD DAY: PRESIDIANS COMPREHEND THE NEED TO EMPOWER GIRLS

Girls are an unscripted and unstoppable force for social change. Presidians of grade 6 conducted a special assembly on on International Girl Child Day based on the theme of  Girl Force: Unscripted and Unstoppable. The assembly started with the morning prayer followed by the news headlines and an inspirational thought for the day. To enrich the vocabulary of the students, a new word was introduced with its meaning and usage. A spectacular speech was delivered on the importance of girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights. A motivational poem was recited to illustrate that girls are rising in every sphere of life and they are truly indomitable. A soul stirring dance performance was also presented in the end depicting the importance of girl child and her right to be born.

PRESIDIUM WITNESSES A SPLENDID DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION

The life of pride is very fugitive. Dussehra is the day which reminds us of the greatness of righteousness in our lives. To commemorate our ancient virtues, Presidium organised a majestic celebration on this very day. This event was full of zestful dances and stirring music performances. The apex of this juncture was a spectacular Ramleela, where audience enjoyed glimpses of the birth of Lord Rama to his conquest over Ravana. It left everyone spellbound. This victory of good over evil inspired everyone for their own victories.

SPORTS DAY: SENIORS LEG UP JUNIORS IN SETTING NEW LEVELS

This sentence holds true when our senior students assisted their juniors during the Annual Sports Day. They added to the mileage of this event by holding the bag in territory of entertainment. The event was boosted by impressive dances and daredevil taekwondo performances. This sports day turned out to be triumphant in real terms where seniors set examples for juniors by extending their helping hands.
