The delightful Diwali celebrations at Presidium began with decorating the school premises wonderfully. This created an auspicious aura that made the onlookers go gaga with the festive vibrations. It was spellbinding to see the concern of Presidians towards our environment as they promoted the slogan of ‘say no to crackers’. They gracefully adorned & lit diyas to add to the festival of lights with their unique spark & brightness.
On the eve of Friendship day, Presidans came together to celebrate this special bond with their friends and teachers. In a special assembly they shared beautiful thoughts on the wonderful journey of friendship. Such thoughts and impressions encourage children to value relationships and understand the true essence of friendship which lies in giving rather than taking. Friendship is a blessing that should be received with gratitude and nurtured with love and generosity.
On the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-fitr, Presidians came together to celebrate the festival with their friends and teachers. The glorious festival marks the beginning of rejoicing and feasting after a month long fasting and offerings of spiritual devotion to the almighty. The essence of Eid lies in acknowledging the superiority of the spiritual realm over the physical realm. Special assembly was organised, wherein the significance of the holy festival of Eid was shared with students. They exchanged warm wishes with each other and rejoiced over the spirit of Eid which marks a convivial celebration of brotherhood, humanity, and kindness for all beings.
We welcome our dear students after the summer vacations. Presidians are all set to start yet another term of exciting learning opportunities after a long break.
Teachers build the capacities and capabilities of students. A teacher’s empowerment directly reflects on students’ learning. Following this principle, our teachers ensure that they continue to learn to be able to teach better. This summer they undertook enriching and knowledgeable workshops with a series of discussions, interactions and video presentations so as to augment their ability in identifying different ways in which they can fortify students’ strength and raise them as future leaders. Such well-designed training programmes lead to enhanced teaching-learning process inside and outside the classrooms. The teachers also recognise that their role is not limited to the cognitive development of the student, but they also play a crucial role in the emotional development and psychological wellbeing of the child. These workshops pay special attention towards enhancing their expertise in motivating and counselling students and pave the way for shaping powerful leaders and successful achievers.
