PRESIDIANS REVEL IN THE CELEBRATION OF GANESH CHATURTHI
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year with lots of devotion and joy. This auspicious festival was celebrated by the students of grade 2. Students marked the beginning of the event by offering prayer to Goddess Saraswati . This was followed by news of the day and sharing stories of the childhood of Lord Ganesha. Presidians presented a short skit showcasing how Lord Ganesha got the elephant head. The varied rituals and customs were also showcased by the students. This was followed by a lovely dance performance which spread spiritual vibes leaving everyone spell bound and transfixed.
PRESIDIANS PAY A TRIBUTE TO THEIR MENTORS ON TEACHERS' DAY
The word ‘teacher’ represents knowledge; transfer of the knowledge from the teacher to the taught.
Presidium Noida took pride in cherishing the efforts of the teachers in building the right path for learners. Students organized a special assembly to celebrate Teachers’ Day. A scintillating dance performance was prepared by the students. A stupendous theatrical performance also cherished little things that teachers for their students..The students thanked the teachers in their unique way and the jollification became a beautiful rose in the bouquet of memories.
PRESIDIANS INVOKE THE BLESSINGS OF LORD KRISHNA ON JANMASHTAMI
‘Festivals are characterised by colour, gaiety, enthusiasm, prayers and rituals’. Keeping this in mind a special assembly was conducted by the students of grades Nursery to 3 on the occasion of Janmashtami, a festival which commemorates the earthly arrival of Lord Krishna. The assembly began with the recitation of Gayatri Mantra followed by an informative speech on the birth of Shri Krishna. The students enacted scenes depicting Shri Krishna’s birth, childhood and his triumph over Kansa. With the echoes of the word Govinda resonating in the premises, the students enacted the famous dahi handi ceremony along with a dance performance.
PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE LOVE BETWEEN SIBLINGS ON RAKSHA BANDHAN
Raksha Bandhan celebrates the love between siblings. Presidians marked this pious festival in their distinctive manner throughout the week. Students of grades Nursery to 2 crafted beautiful Rakhis and students of grade 3 wrote a loving letter to their brothers and sisters to express their love for their siblings. The entire school premises was filled with the festive spirit for the entire week. The activities planned to celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan were both educative and enjoyable for the students as they expressed their love and emotions through their words and by making colourful rakhis with their creativity.
PRESIDIANS SEEK FOR ALMIGHTY'S BLESSINGS ON THE OCCASION OF EID
Eid-al-Adha is an extremely important festival which celebrates the man’s faith and respect towards the Almighty. Presidium Noida celebrated this holy festival with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students talked about the significance and stories related to the festival and stressed on the fact that belief in the higher power would always be a pillar of support in tough times. The Eid celebrations at Presidium were enlightening as the students learned about the culture and traditions of this community and simultaneously rejoiced the day with festive fervour.
YOUNG PHILANTHROPISTS VISIT INDIA'S 5TH BEST SPECIAL SCHOOL
In our ongoing endeavor to plant the seed of altruism in the youthful minds of students at Presidium Noida, the young philanthropists visited Sparsh Special School. They spent time with the special children of Sparsh and witnessed various learning strategies. The upbeat and brimming-with-life souls of these special children filled the hearts of the Presidians with empathy, admiration and adoration. The visit to Sparsh was an inspiring experience for the Presidians as they saw the special students leading a happy life with dignity and left with a similar zeal to be happy and independent irrespective of all the hardships.
PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE THEIR LOVE FOR INDIA, THIS INDEPENDENCE DAY
The Independence Day was celebrated with great pride and honour in the premises of Presidium Noida. The school celebrated the light of patriotism that keeps illuminating the spirits of Presidians. The special assembly saluted the great leaders who laid the foundation of the nation. The tiny tots dressed up like the leaders proudly spread the teachings of the pioneers of our nation through dance and music performances which demonstrated their love for the motherland. The magnum opus of the event was a heart melting medley of patriotic songs sung by the Academic Staff of the school. With this zeal and profoundness the Presidians pledged to become better citizens and take the legacy forward.
QUIZ COMPETITION QUENCHES LEARNERS' THIRST FOR KNOWLEDGE
To grow we must keep posing challenges and stay keen on learning. To foster this growth and to keep the spirits of our Presidians high an Intraclass Quiz competition was organised for the students of grade 3. These inquisitive minds quested for the answers which were closely knitted to their curriculum yet it demanded peculiar observation and great memory retaining power. It helped them pay attention to the details of the lessons taught and also brush their critical skills like observation, creating relations, retaining ability. Therefore, it is rightly said ‘keep setting your goals higher and that’s how you keep learning.
FRIENDSHIP’S DAY: PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE THE VALUE OF TOGETHERNESS
A true friend advises justly, assists readily, adventures boldly, takes it all patiently, defends courageously, and continues a friend unchangeably. Presidium always values the significance of healthy relationships and bonding among peers and elders. In an attempt to take the celebrations of Friendship’s Day beyond leaps and bounds, a special assembly was conducted on this occasion recently. The assembly enabled the students to realise the importance of positive influence in one’s life. It was heart melting to see how young Presidians valued friendship and believed that ‘together’ is the best place to be. Truly, it was an awe-inspiring program which is sure to create an everlasting lasting impression in young minds.
NATURE WALK:YOUNG NATURE LOVERS BECOME ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS

Presidium Noida recently organised a visit to a nearby park with a cluster of rich green trees that brought the learners of grade 5 closer to nature. The scenic beauty of the nature was a food for thought for the young minds. The students differentiated the various layers of the forest: The tallest trees which form the canopy, the medium trees which are the understory of the forest and the small grasses and bushes of the forest that form the forest floor. They always feel sensitive towards the environmental problems so it was a wonderful sight to witness the budding environmentalists educating themselves about ways to conserve the environment and spread the word among all.
