TALENT HUNT: THE SHINING STARS OF PRESIDIUM AMAZE THE AUDIENCE
A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.
In an attempt to take a step closer in harnessing the talented students of grades 4 and 5, a Talent Hunt competition was recently organized at Presidium, Noida 31. The Presidians not only showcased their talent by singing songs, playing musical instruments, dancing, acting and drawing sketches, but also enjoyed the fun-filled day to the core of their hearts. It was mesmerizing to see the hard work of the students who presented their talent exceptionally. The shining stars of Presidium were beautifully dressed and their confidence added another feather in their hats.
PRESIDIANS CONDUCT A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON GURPURAB WITH GREAT ZEAL
Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab and Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav celebrates the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. To celebrate this propitious festival, the Presidians of Noida organized a special assembly with great zeal and enthusiasm. The assembly began with Om chanting and school prayer, which was followed by a speech on an overview and knowledge about Guru Nanak Dev Ji's great life. The students also presented a melodious and soulful song and a skit, which gave the lesson - 'hating people all year and loving others just once, doesn't make God happy'.
CHAIRPERSON HONOURS THE YOUNG ACHIEVERS OF PRESIDIUM NOIDA

Presidium believes in prizing the achievements of its young achievers to give them the wings to dream. Recently, a grand ceremony - the CHAIRPERSON HONOURS was organized to recognize the Presidians of Noida for their extraordinary achievements in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Graced by Mrs. Sudha Gupta, the honourable Chairperson of Presidium, the ceremony built the students' confidence and strengthened their determination to achieve more in life. Offering such a majestic honour to our 'leaders of tomorrow', the event congratulated more than 700 young scholars with certificates of recognition. It was indeed a heart warming moment to witness the parents of our young lads with wholesome smiles of pride and happiness.
ANNUAL SPORTS DAY: PRESIDIANS SHOW TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP & TEAM WORK

To gear up sportsmanship and team work in our leaders of tomorrow, the much-awaited Annual Sports Day was recentl organized at Presidium, Noida 31. The talented students of grades nursery to 6 entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the special guest of the day, Mrs. Smriti Nanda. A peppy dance drill and an energizing exercise drill set the tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. The fun-filled competitions included clean the yard, shuttle race, fruit race, obstacle race, 50 metre relay and long jump. All the schoolmates enjoyed themselves and had an unforgettable Sports Day.
INTRA-CLASS BEST OUT OF WASTE CONTEST: PROMOTING ARTISTIC MERIT
Best out of waste is one of the most enjoyable crafts that children can be engaged in. To explore and encourage creativity in our students of grades 1 to 3 and offer them a platform to showcase their skills, an 'intra-class best out of waste' competition was recently organized at Presidium, Noida. Children participated earnestly in the competition, which inspired them to think and work creatively. Promoting artistic excellence, the fun-filled contest invited some mind-blowing ideas from the students, which involved usage of old products like ropes, broken bangles, plastic bangles, waste nails and broken door handles to design useful goods like pen stand, dholak, tabla, dice and flower. Ranking high on creativity, strength, finish and utility, the finished products helped in developing a sense of love for environment in the little hearts. Each of the goods prepared by the children was simply a treat to the eyes.
PRESIDIANS COLOUR THE CORRIDORS IN FESTIVE SPIRIT ON DIWALI
Marking the happy return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after fourteen years' exile, Diwali is one of the most colourful, sacred and loveliest festivals of India. To celebrate this festival of lights with great joy and enthusiasm, a special assembly was organized by the students of Presidium, Noida recently. The whole school wore a festive look with beautiful diyas, rangolis and lanterns, adorning the corridors and the assembly hall in bright colours. The young Presidians talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. Besides sensitizing students to the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them. Showcasing the exquisite spirit of Diwali through a mesmerising dance performance, the students pledged not to play with fireworks on this festival.
PRESIDIANS OF GRADES NUR & PREP SHINE AT SHOW & TELL COMPETITION
To showcase the presentation skills of our toddlers, a 'show and tell competition' was organized recently for students of grades nursery and prep at Presidium, Noida 31. This simple activity engaged the students in a fun-filled way and they faced their classmates with a particular item to tell information about it including where they got it from, what it is used for and how it works. The benefits of show and tell are mainly to teach young students about the skills of public speaking as well as that of audience participation and cooperation. It helps in confidence building too. The competition helped the little Presidians to gain confidence and improve their oral skills. The way the children presented themselves and spoke with immense confidence was noteworthy.
PRESIDIANS EXCITEDLY CELEBRATE THE JOYOUS FESTIVAL OF DUSSEHRA
Celebrating Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana, Dussehra marks the culmination of the nine-day Navratri celebrations. It is seen as the victory of good over evil and to observe this blissful festival, our young Presidians from School Noida organized a special assembly on this auspicious occasion. Conducted by students of grades 1 to 3 with great zeal and enthusiasm, the assembly began with enlightening the audience about facts related to Dussehra. This was followed by students speaking on the significance of Dussehra and how it is celebrated in different parts of India. A beautiful rhythmic Hindi poem was recited by a student to give a vivid description of this festival. The event was a learning experience for all about our rich Indian culture and values.
INTRA-CLASS READING COMPETITION ENCOURAGES THE HABIT OF READING
To create a reading culture and encourage students to become engaged and motivated readers, an 'intra-class reading competition' was conducted for students at Presidium, Noida. The students were assessed on the basis of clarity/diction, confidence, voice modulation, audibility/pronunciation and overall presentation. All the students read the stories from the textbooks with great confidence and clarity. Everyone was engrossed in the activity and learnt to be a good listener and speaker. The judges were impressed and encouraged the students to read on a regular basis to hone their reading skills.
FUN-FILLED DANCE CONTEST CAPTIVATES GRADE NURSERY & PREP STUDENTS
Dance is one of the best art forms which focus on overall development of children, Considering this, a fun-filled dance competition was organized for grade nursery and prep students at Presidium, Noida 31. Dressed-up very nicely in costumes according to their songs, the little Presidians participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Resplendent with excitement on performing on the stage, the students really enjoyed the whole experience.
