INDIA SERVED ON A PLATE AT FOOD FAIR!
India is rich with flavours, aromas and textures or uncountable types. To celebrate this diversity, a Food Fair was organised by the students of grade 3. The cuisines of all the states provided served the palate of the little ones with so many different spices such as the sweetness of Bengali rasgulla and spiciness of the Saag from Punjab. The students described the respective cuisines, learnt about the folk language of the state they were representing and put on the beautiful traditional attires. It was truly like the whole of India was served on a plate. This event also encourages the students to develop respect for all people irrespective of religion, caste or creed.
A FRUITFUL PARENT-TEACHER MEETING AT PRESIDIUM
When it comes to children then it's the cooperation between the teachers and the parents that brings out the best results. Parents-teachers meeting is a meaningful opportunity meant for the welfare of students. Presidium Noida-31 recently hosted a PTM and it was a success with Parents turning out in large numbers. Many important interactions took place between parents and teachers. We are always happy to hear from the students as well as their parents and are focussed at helping the students reach their highest potential.
DECLAMATION COMPETITION PUTS PRESIDIANS UNDER LIMELIGHT

Keeping the students abreast with the latest issues, Presidium Noida-31 recently organised a Declamation Competition for the students of grades 6 to 8.The participants took the stage with aplomb and their performance was incredible. It reflected the fact that they had well understood that great inspiring speeches are examples of great oratory which have the power to appeal to the sentiments and stir up the emotions of the listeners. The competition aimed to promote the skills of effective public speaking. The participants enthusiastically expressed their views on the topics like Life in the urban jungle, Racial Discrimination, Information Technology in developing technology, Global terrorism, How to reach your goals with humour etc. At the end of the competition, while declaring the results, the judges stated that the contestants were well prepared and performed amazingly well.
ON BUDDHA PURNIMA, STUDENTS PREACH THE TEACHINGS OF LORD BUDDHA
जीवन में किसी उद्देश्य या लक्ष्य तक पहुंचने से ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण उस यात्रा को अच्छे से संपन्न करना होता है- गौतम बुद्धा
जीवन को सही रूप देने व उसके सही आचरण के लिए सदा उचित मार्ग को अपनाना साथ ही शिष्टा दिखाना हर मनुष्य का कर्तव्य है | इसी विचार को सही रूप व् राह दिखाते हुए प्रेसिडियम के छात्रों ने एक अलग रंग छलकाया | एक आध्यात्मिक यात्रा का आरंभ करते हुए छात्रों ने बुद्ध पूर्णिमा के उपलक्ष्य में एक छोटी सी संगीतमय नाटिका प्रस्तुत की | सभा की शुरुआत करते हुए छात्रों ने बुद्ध पूर्णिमा या जयंती का शुद्ध व् वास्तविक अस्तित्व अर्थ सबको उचित भाव के साथ ज्ञात कराया साथ ही छात्रों ने बहुत ही उत्साह के साथ नृत्य नाटिकामें राजकुमार सिद्धार्थ के गौतम बुद्ध बनने के सफर को निर्मल भाव से प्रस्तुत किया | बुद्धा के द्वारा दिए गए सन्देश उनके दिए गए पथ का किस प्रकार आचरण करें साथ ही किस प्रकार से स्वयं का स्वयं से मिलाप , किस राह से करे हर चरित्र की प्रस्तुति की गई| बुद्धा के आष्टांगिक मार्ग व् उनके द्वारा जीवन चक्र का आधार हर क्रिया को सही राह दिखा एक मधुरमय सभा को प्रस्तुत किया गया | बुद्धा जयंती के अवसर पर छात्रों के जोश, उमंग, उत्साह व् रोमांच ने यह सन्देश सबके समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया जीवन में कुछ भी बन जाए परन्तु एक नेक या अच्छे मनुष्य की ही पहचान पाए|
RECITATION COMPETITION ENHANCES LINGUISTIC SKILLS OF STUDENTS
YOGA MAESTROS EXCEL AT 2ND NCR YOGA CHAMPIONSHIP!
Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies the unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. Keeping this objective in mind 2nd NCR YOGA Championship was recently organized at Presidium Noida. Around 12 schools participated with 100-120 young champs proving their mettle. 15 students from our school participated in this tournament, out of which 5 students got secured a winning position. Ruwaifi and Devarya got 3rd position in under 8 category. Lakshya Biswal, Sarthak Chaudhary and Reet got 3rd rank in under 10 category. Overall 2nd runner up Trophy was also received by Presidium Noida-31. Kudus to our young Champions and their coach.
ROBOTICS ACTIVITY: LEADING PRESIDIANS TOWARDS INNOVATION!
By having to control a physical robot and seeing what goes wrong, students learn what robots can do
and can’t do. They also learn the need for precise instructions. Robotics help addresses the growing
demand for teaching science, technology, engineering and maths in schools. Keeping this objective
in mind Robotics was introduced under work- Education initiative at Presidium Noida-31. The main idea
for including Robotics in the curriculum is to build future leaders by providing the basic knowledge
and creating interest in Robotics field. Students learnt to control robots using normal electrical concepts. They also developed their own models by their own hands.
MOTHER’S DAY: THANK YOU MOTHERS FOR BEING THE ANCHOR OF OUR LIFE
Mother's day is the day dedicated to all the mothers and is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May to honor mothers and motherhood. With this objective and spirit the students of grade nursery, 1 and 2 of Presidium Noida-31 conducted a special assembly. The occasion was graciously honored by the presence of Dr.Yashvir Singh and Mrs. Madhumita Chaudhary (an eminent lawyer and social activist). Children started with singing a melodious song on the importance and value of mothers. An amazing dance performance was also presented by the little buddies. The day was celebrated with lots of joy and happiness by the students and the teachers in the school. Special invitations were given to mothers for the occasion. Kids became very happy while performing in front of their mothers.
BUDDING PHILANTHROPISTS VISIT THEIR SPECIAL FRIENDS AT SPARSH
The students of grade 6 recently visited SPARSH NGO. The day was full of excitement, creativity and engagement. Our society is formed by each and every citizen of the country and students are the torch bearers in the relay of life. The opportunity to express themselves must reach every child. There were many creative activities planned throughout the day like candle making, Knitting, Beading Packaging etc. wherein the students spend some great quality time with the special children at Sparsh. Many memories were carved and moments etched on little minds. Such visits encourage the students to discover humanity and selflessly work towards the upliftment of those who need it the most.
CELEBRATING THE BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE LEGEND - GURUDEV TAGORE
“Where knowledge is free and the head is held high…” Presidium ceremoniously celebrated the birth anniversary of a great scholar and novelist and also India’s first Nobel Laureate for
Literature- Rabindranath Tagore. The programme started with paying our respects by garlanding Gurudev’s portrait. Various programs were held where an amalgamation of cultural songs (Rabindra Sangeet), poetry, dance and drama, written and composed by Tagore, were presented as a tribute to Tagore and his works. Rabindranath’s song ‘Eklaa Chalo Re’ was also sung by the students.The sheer dedication of children made it a grand celebration.
