Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the first of the ten Sikh gurus and the founder of Sikhism. His birth anniversary is observed as 'Gurpurab' across the globe. To observe this auspicious occasion, pre-primary and primary students conducted a special virtual assembly where students were dressed in traditional Sikh attire, and the assembly commenced with a prayer followed by a demonstration of the customary 'Prabhat Pheri.' Some students then came forward to share useful information relating to the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The students apprised the audience about the principles and teachings of the pious soul, Guru Nanak Dev. Videos on his life and spiritual journey were played for the students, which reiterated the message 'One God' and the 'Eternal Truth.' The programme concluded on a happy note with festive spirit and unbeatable excitement amongst the students. All the students presented a beautiful rendition of Ek Onkar and other shabads, which were commendable and were appreciated by one and all.
